As we move through the final stretch of winter, I want to acknowledge that this has been an unusual season across many Western markets. Warmer temperatures brought a different set of challenges than other parts of the country faced this year, and I want you to know we see that—and we appreciate the resilience and commitment you bring to serving pellet customers in your communities.

At Lignetics, our commitment to our retail partners doesn’t change with the weather. Even in a milder Western season, the broader market remains deeply interconnected. Energy market volatility, rising fuel and raw material costs, and shifting demand patterns in other regions can ripple across the country—and the West is not insulated from those dynamics. With operations positioned coast to coast, our team works every day to stay close to our partners, move supply where it is needed most, and respond quickly as conditions evolve.

As this season winds down, now is exactly the right time to start planning ahead. Your quarterly pricing will be shared tomorrow, and we encourage retailers to begin working with their sales representative on a yearly purchase forecast so we can better understand your needs and plan for the seasons ahead.
